1. Admissions Philosophy

Dreamers Academy welcomes applications from families who share our commitment to academic excellence, character development, and the belief that every child can learn. We admit students on the basis of academic readiness, available places, and alignment with our school values — not on the basis of socioeconomic background alone.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive school community that reflects the richness of Ghanaian society and the wider world.

2. Admissions Process

Following a successful assessment, families will receive a formal offer letter. The place is confirmed upon payment of the registration fee and submission of all required documents.

2.1 Required Documents for Enrolment

• Completed application form (available from the school office or website)
• Copy of child's birth certificate
• Copy of child's Ghana Card or passport (and parent/guardian's)
• Two recent passport-sized photographs of the child
• Most recent school report (for students transferring from another school)
• Immunisation record / health certificate
• Any relevant medical or special educational needs documentation

2.2 Assessment Process by Stage

3. Tuition Fees Structure 2025–2026

All fees are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GHS) per term. The academic year consists of three terms.

5. Payment Schedule & Methods

5.2 Accepted Payment Methods

• Mobile money: MTN Mobile Money or Vodafone Cash — merchant number available from the bursar's office
• Cash or cheque: Payable in person at the school bursar's office (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm)

Please quote your child's full name and student ID number with all payments. A receipt will be issued for every payment.

6. Late Payment Policy

Fees not paid by the due date will incur the following consequences:

1. 1–7 days late: Written reminder to parents/guardians.
2. 8–14 days late: Meeting with the bursar; payment plan may be arranged.
3. 15+ days late: The school reserves the right to withhold school reports, restrict participation in school trips and events, and — in cases of persistent non-payment — to withdraw the student's place.

7. Sibling Discount & Financial Assistance

7.2 Bursary & Scholarship Programme

Dreamers Academy is committed to making quality education accessible. A limited number of bursary places and academic scholarships are available each year for students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability or financial need.

• Academic Scholarship: Up to 50% fee reduction for students who achieve outstanding results in the entrance assessment. Available for Years 7 and 10 entry.
• Bursary: Means-tested financial assistance of up to 30% fee reduction. Applications must be supported by evidence of household income.

Applications for bursaries and scholarships must be submitted with the admissions application. Late applications will only be considered if places remain available.

8. Refund & Withdrawal Policy

• The registration fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.
• If a student withdraws before the start of a term, a full refund of that term's fees will be issued, less an administration charge of GHS 200.
• If a student withdraws after the start of a term, fees for that term are non-refundable.
• The caution deposit will be refunded within 30 days of the student's final day, provided all school property is returned and no outstanding fees or charges remain.
• One full term's written notice of withdrawal is required. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a charge equivalent to one term's fees.
