From a bold dream to a thriving academy — our story of building a world-class education in the heart of Ghana.
Our Founding Story
Dreamers Academy-GH was founded in 2020 with a singular, powerful belief: that every child — regardless of background — deserves access to an exceptional education that nurtures their unique gifts and prepares them for a rapidly changing world.
Located in Gbawe, Ghana, the academy was established by a passionate group of educators and community leaders who saw a gap between the quality of education available locally and the global standard that Ghanaian children deserved. They set out to build something different — a school where imagination is celebrated, curiosity is rewarded, and every student is seen as a future leader.
From its very first cohort, Dreamers Academy-GH welcomed students from Creche through the early primary years, laying a solid foundation rooted in the internationally recognised Pearson Edexcel curriculum. The school's name was chosen deliberately: to remind every child who walks through its doors that their dreams are valid, and that this is the place where those dreams take centre stage.
Our Journey
Doors Open
Dreamers Academy-GH opens its doors in Gbawe, Ghana, welcoming its founding cohort of students from Creche through early primary. The Pearson Edexcel curriculum is adopted from day one.
STEAM Programme Launched
The school introduces its flagship STEAM programme, integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics into everyday learning. Students participate in their first Science & STEM Fair.
Music School Established
Recognising the transformative power of music, Dreamers Academy-GH launches its dedicated Music School — offering instrumental tuition, choral training, and performance opportunities for all students.
NaSIA Accreditation
The academy receives formal accreditation from the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA), affirming its commitment to quality, safety, and educational excellence.
Pearson Edexcel Partnership
Dreamers Academy-GH formalises its partnership with Pearson Edexcel, giving students access to internationally recognised qualifications from Primary through to A-Level and BTEC.
Five Years Strong
Celebrating five years of empowering dreamers. The school continues to grow its student body, faculty, and community partnerships — with a clear vision for expanding through to Grade 12.
